I am a lover of words....always writing and creating. And always appreciating the way words can connect together to form the most moving sentiments. So, if it is said that a picture is worth 1000 words, then not only do I want to be the one to craft those words, but I want to be the one to capture that image that represents them. The pursuit of that all-encompassing photograph is the fun part.
Having had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, I've captured the moments of my life and most of those around me. Learning photography in the 'traditional way' with a 35mm film camera, I have an appreciation for both film and digital. Whether reloading film or memory cards, developing in the darkroom or enhancing in front of a computer, I recognize that it all starts with the beauty as perceived by the eye. Taking the time to understand a person's perception of beauty allows me to better capture images that suit the specific needs of my clients.
